Our Story Of Strength, Care, And Growth
Acacia Forest Industries Sdn Bhd (AFI) is a Malaysian company based in Kota Kinabalu, with tropical forest plantations located within the Bengkoka peninsula in Sabah. AFI was formed in the year 2004. Acacia Forest Industries Sdn Bhd (AFI) is a joint venture company between Hijauan Bengkoka Plantations Sdn Bhd (HBP) and the Sabah Forestry Development Authority (SAFODA – 30%). The primary objective of the shareholders, as defined in the Joint Venture Agreement, is to plant and replant selected timber species in the designated area, and to sell the timber harvested therefrom, up until 2060 in a responsible and sustainable manner.
